Pumpkin Patch — printable activity pack
The harvest half of October rather than the haunted half: no ghosts and no costumes — that material is in the Halloween packs. The pumpkin outline on the cover is the one those use; what differs is the words, which stay on hay, vines, gourds and a wheelbarrow. CARVING is as close as any of them comes to a fright, and it is about a kitchen table rather than a graveyard.
Four levels of the same theme — ages 3–5, 6–8, 9–12 and a harder grown-up level — so a mixed-age class or family works on the same puzzles, each at their own level. 11 pages, US Letter PDF, ready to print at home or in a classroom.
One-time payment of US$4 plus any applicable tax. UK & EU/EEA consumers: 14-day right to cancel · Refund & cancellation policy
Pay as a guest — no account needed. You get the Pumpkin Patch pack at the level you pick, as a PDF, straight after checkout, and you can print it as often as you like for your own family or class.
Three pages from this pack

Rendered from the Pumpkin Patch PDF itself, at ages 6–8. The puzzles are generated, so your copy’s grids and maze won’t be these exact ones.
Where the crossword runs out of room
At ages 3–5 the mini crossword holds four of the six words — HAY, PIE, VINE and ORANGE interlock, while SEED and BIG wait for the word search and the scramble. At ages 9–12 all six fit: CINNAMON, WHEELBARROW, SCARECROW, PATCHWORK, AUTUMNAL and LATTICE. LATTICE and CINNAMON are pie-crust words rather than field words, and so, at the youngest level, is PIE. The dot-to-dot is the one page with nothing of the patch on it: ten dots that make a five-pointed star.

The answer key solves the sudoku, the word search, the word scramble and the crossword. The maze doesn’t have an answer — a maze doesn’t need one.
The words your child will be hunting for
These are the words each level’s puzzles are built from: the word search grid is filled with them and prints them under it as the list to find, the scramble jumbles up to seven of them one per line, and the crossword interlocks as many as will fit. Same theme at every level, different words — that’s what makes a mixed-age table work.
The grown-up level isn’t written separately: it’s the longest words from the 6–8 and 9–12 lists, on a bigger grid and a harder sudoku.
